MISSION
At Detachment 1221, we are united by a shared commitment to service, community, and one another.
We honor our oath to serve by supporting the veterans of Rutherford County and giving back to the community that has supported us.
Through our leadership of the Toys for Tots program, we strive to bring hope, joy, and opportunity to children and families in need, demonstrating that service to others does not end when the uniform comes off.
Just as important, we cherish the camaraderie and fellowship that unite us as Marines and fellow veterans. Together, we preserve the bonds of brotherhood forged through service, encourage one another, and create lasting friendships while continuing to answer the call to serve.
